It's a rainy stormy day here in NC, so I have had time to go thru some cards I wanted to share with you. I just love old cards, books, and prints. They are so different from what you can get these days. I also have a large collection of postcards I want to share with you soon. Remember I said my husband's grandfather worked for the railroad? The post cards are a collection of cards he sent to his son while traveling. These greating cards are from both sides of the family.
The best one for the day is the
Shower card.
How cute are those ducks?
How about this girl with her poodle!
My only card from my Dad. It is from the 70's. Of course it is precious to me.
This little girl is over 45 years old!
I like the 3 D look of this.
Easter Bunnies, yeah?
A great greeting to end the blog.
Hope you enjoyed this collection. Have a great Thursday!

Beverly, These are so cute and a treasure to have, especially the one from your father.
Have a great day.
I LOVE all these cards!! They look very familiar to me as I have some similar ones. What lovely memories they bring back!! Thanks so much for stopping by and following!! I see you are in NC also!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving you wonderful comment. That balsamic and orange juice dressing sounds wonderful! You are right about your granddaughter. She has to be a fighter. I am a retired school teacher and I once had a student with cystic fibrosis. I always admired that brave student. Wishing the best for you and your granddaughter.
These are just charming, Beverly...and so nice they are from family! Thanks so much for following my blog and for your encouraging comment about my kitchen re-do project!
I remember getting cards with those kinds of designs when I was a little girl. I wish I'd kept them all now as they are so cute!
It's great to meet you Beverly. Thanks so much for dropping by and visiting my Christmas Blog and following along. I look forward to following your blog!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Love your collection of sweet cards! The shower card is definitely appropriate with the weather...we've had 2 days of rain!
That is a wonderful collection of vintage cards! The artwork brought back memories. It was always so fun to get cards. People don't send them like they used to. I love, love that last quote. Gonna have to steal that one!
Thanks so much for the follow back. I appreciate it and look forward to getting to know you better!
Have a happy day!
Tammy
Happy Friday, Beverly. I hope you'll join us this weekend for Pink Saturday.
I love vintage cards, too. In fact, I have been gathering old postcards from places I have lived and visited.
I love them all and have the yellow card.
I am having an antique auction on my blog. All sorts of lovely and romantic finds looking for a new home. I hope you'll stop by.
Have a wonderful weekend.
As I scanned down your pictures of cards...I would say "oh that one is my favorite"...only I did it EVERY time...lol. I really adore vintage cards. I have finally decided that the last card REALLY IS my favorite.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I hope you have a wonderful day!
