Porch Redo Part 2

I showed you pictures of my porch and as promised I would update you on the progress. I have gotten some really good ideas and have been on the hunt all weekend for things for my new makeover. We decided on ach  porch paint color, "Light Rattan" by Beher. Wow did things brighten up!
This is the first coat w/ no touch ups.. I think the dark furniture and the light brown rug will look great with this color.. I love how light and airy the space feels now. I think the red was weighting it down.
You can see last post here
Much better, don't you think?

I decided to go with this accent color. Blue was a great suggestion, but I wanted to incorporate some green because my living areas have green.. I wanted it to flow easily from indoor to outdoor.
I found these pillows at Home Depot for $12 a piece... not a bad price.

Love the colors.. fits the bill perfectly.
Then guess what I found at the thrift store today? He was $6 a bit pricey for a thrift find but glad I bought him..
Isn't he fabulous? I think so.. it is a vintage piece.
Perfect for the pillows. I love the chips and all. It turns out he is vintage which is all the better to me.
and I found this at Home Depot.. it is all metal for a price of $29, a pretty good price for all metal outdoor clocks.

and the perfect lamp shade for $3 at the thrift store.
Thrift store white planter. $2.50
maybe a pic, what do you think
I found this at Mom's house.. kinda did a trade out.. I found her a huge pic for above her couch of the hunt scene.. she is in love with it.. pics for later. It was a great find. I see I don't have it straight now. It is a kind of
plastic  which is perfect for outdoor and it was free, well kind of. Her pic cost me but it was only $17 w/ custom mat and it is a 30 x 30. Can you believe that.

A basket from the thrift store for $4.. not quite as large as I wanted but it will work somewhere.

I found some drapes I think will work, they are a little darker.. but that is all I am giving away right now. Definately will get the pvc cut for rods... thanks Allison.
I can't move anything back to the porch for two three days.. so the wait is on. I think things are coming together nicely.. what do you think? Thinking about all of your suggestions, they are really good ones.. it gets me going!
Thanks for stopping by. At 99 followers.. Hoping to get past 100 by tommorow.. got a couple of things in mind for a giveaway I think you would like.
Hope it is sunny your way!

I love your patio, it's great! I'm sitting here trying to stall because today I'm going de-weed and fix up the side yard. I'm going to post the before picture sometime soon and it'll be horrifying to look at to say the least! I'm hoping it will motivate me to finish it. Thank you for commemting on your blog about my sheep. I've been meaning to do that for years, but did't want fish through the Christmas boxes for them. This year I made sure they were within easy reach! Have a great week, Mary :O)
